  • How do I transfer my voter registration now that I have moved?

    All you have to do is re-register to vote. You can use this handy link: https://register.rockthevote.com/?partner=2731&source=embed-rtv234x60v1

    When you send in your new voter registration form indicate that you are changing your address. You will get a voter registration card in the mail that will tell you where your precinct’s polling place is located. You do not have to “unregister” your previous registration.

  • Am I eligible to vote?

    To register to vote in Kentucky, a voter must affirm:

    1) I am a United States Citizen
    2) I live in the state of Kentucky
    3) I will be at least 18 years old on or before the next general election
    4) I am not a convicted felon, or if I have been convicted of a felony, my civil rights must have been restored by executive pardon
    4) I have not been judged "mentally incompetent"in a court of law
    5) I do not claim the right to vote anywhere outside Kentucky
    6) Your voter registration form must be dropped off or postmarked by the deadline:

    - Primary Voter Registration Deadline: April 19, 2010
    - General Election Voter Registration Deadline: October 4, 2010
